IS estate planning a puzzle?
WHY is estate planning a puzzle?
Why is probate such a puzzle?
I have been asked all three of these questions by my clients. My answer is that this process truly can be a puzzle, with hidden legal pitfalls, and I am uniquely qualified to help you maneuver through the process that preparing an estate plan can be as well as probate when one of your loved ones dies.
I recognize that this is a process that nearly all of us must encounter at some point in our lives, whether as the designer of a will or estate plan, the recipient of an estate, or the caretaker of a loved one whose health is failing and unsure of the next legal steps.
When I decided to focus my practice on Estate Planning my immediate desire was to ensure that my clients felt as comfortable as possible discussing very difficult subjects. Therefore my practice takes a different approach than most law offices, yet always striving to give my clients superior service:
- Initial phone consultations are free
- Complementary house calls (after an engagement letter is signed)
- Evening and Saturday appointments
- Flat Fees (when possible)
- Payment by check or credit card
WILLS & ESTATE PLANNING SERVICES include the preparation of simple and complex wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, financial and health care powers of attorney, directives to physicians and family, designations of guardian, and the implementation of various estate tax reduction and asset protection strategies. This law office can also represent estates, heirs, claimants, guardians, and wards in Probate and Guardianship proceedings.
