Why do I need a Will?
What is an Advance Directive?
Do I need a Power of Attorney?
What makes for a good Estate Plan?
At first glance, estate planning may seem like an impossible puzzle. It starts with a simple will but then spirals into a host of other documents and legal terms you’ve likely never encountered before.
This is a process that nearly all of us must encounter at some point in our lives, whether as the creator of a Will or Estate Plan, the recipient of an estate, or the caretaker of a loved one whose health is failing and is unsure of the next legal steps to take.
When I decided to focus my law practice on estate planning, my primary goal was to ensure that my clients felt as comfortable as possible discussing the very difficult subjects that come with creating a comprehensive end-of-life plan.
I’ve had to personally navigate these life-altering events in my own family, and so I lead my practice by putting empathy, compassion, and accessibility at the forefront of my mission.
Therefore, my practice takes a slightly different approach to how we do business vs. most law offices.
In addition to providing our clients with a standard of high-quality, individualized service, we also offer a variety of additional accommodations to make our services as accessible as possible:
Initial phone consultations are FREE
Complementary “house calls” (after an engagement letter is signed)
Evening and Saturday appointments
Flat fees (when possible)
Payment by check or credit card
My goal is not just to help you get your documents in order but to be a resource for you and your family so you can make a plan with the confidence that it will take care of your family and loved ones just as you have for so many years.
